Objects of the Corporation

To encourage interest and to provide instruction in the art and science of
Karate-Do and, in particular, concentration in a particular style established
and governed by Master Gogen Yamaguchi, which particular style shall henceforth
be known as Goju-Ryu Karate-Do.

To provide guidance and a means for national standardization of Goju-Ryu
Karate-Do instruction in general, conduct promotion examinations and conduct
tournaments.

To authorize the Goju-Ryu Karate-Do rank of Kyu with uniform certification
issued by the national headquarters. The rank of Dan will be authorized by the
International Karate-Do Goju-Kai Association.

To foster and promote tournaments among the members on a high plane of
sportsmanship and friendly endeavours.

To establish and maintain relations with the International Karate-Do Goju-Kai
Canada and its international members.

To do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the
above objects and in particular to receive and maintain a fund or funds and to
use, apply, give, accumulate or distribute from time to time all or part
thereof and all or part of the income therefrom to do or for the facilitating,
aiding and promoting of the interest and instruction in the art and science of
Goju-Ryu Karate-Do and the maintenance of programs for the instruction thereof
by such means as may from time to time seem expedient to its directors,
including research, publication, education and establishment and maintenance of
educational activities, agencies or institutions and the aid of any such
activities, agencies or institutions already established.
